ninemsn appoints Kerry McCabe as Commercial Director

Sydney, Australia, Thursday 6 November 2008:ninemsn CEO Joe Pollard has announced the appointment of Kerry McCabe as the company's new Commercial Director.

McCabe joins ninemsn on December 1 to lead the company's commercial division which includes advertising sales (display, performance, mobile and video), commercial creative production, sales operations, partner management, market research and trade marketing. He will report directly to Joe Pollard and join the company's executive management team.

McCabe is formerly General Manager of Sales at Eye Corp Australia and New Zealand.

Over a six-year period at Eye Corp, McCabe was responsible for the company's ANZ sales operations with a staff of 80 people. He held full financial accountability and was also responsible for the company’s strategic direction, evolution of its financial performance, new product development and industry innovation. He launched new units offering media and technology solutions to agencies and marketers.

Alongside McCabe's professional talents and achievements, he is also very active and a leader in community support.
