Sydney, Australia, Friday 18th September 2009: ninemsn launched its new ZOO Weekly website today, zooweekly.com.au, providing advertisers with even more high impact and integrated opportunities on Australia's leading men's lifestyle website.

The site has been completely redesigned to reward its loyal audience and attract new consumers, placing the emphasis on the 180,000-strong ZOO Community and providing more video and interactive content.

The site is currently Australia's number one men’s lifestyle website, with an audience of more than 230,000 people per month and approximately 7 million page impressions per month, targeting men aged 18 to 35.*

Todd Forest, Director of Content and Audience Experience at ninemsn, said: "In August, the ZOO Weekly website was ranked 8th in session engagement of all Australian monitored sites, with people spending an average of 12 minutes and 47 seconds on the site†, so we know we have a captive and highly engaged audience. We are pleased to be bringing new opportunities to advertisers to help benefit from that audience, including high impact rich media placements, runways and video opportunities."

Australia's leading work wear brand Hard Yakka will be advertising on the site at launch in a one-month campaign which will include display advertising, page pushdowns and a mobile element where people can download the iconic Hard Yakka chant as a ringtone for their phones.

Laura Downey, Hard Yakka Marketing Manager, said: "Our brand is associated with tough, strong, hard working Aussie men who also like to have a good time and the new ZOO Weekly site is a great way for us to reach our audience and build brand affinity."

The new ZOO Weekly site incorporates significant enhancements to the site’s video content and integration with ZOO magazine’s searches for Aussie talent through Real Girls, Beach Babes and Real Cars. The site also includes enhancements to the ZOO Community and Bloke News with ZOO’s inimitable and humorous daily news roundup, pub trivia and games, music and movie reviews. The new ZOO Weekly site launch is the first major initiative from ninemsn since it began managing the online version of a further eight ACP Magazine titles in July this year, including men’s lifestyle brands ZOO and Wheels.
